Matthew 16:13-19

Jesus profoundly shapes our knowledge of our purpose, the character of God, and our understanding of soteriology, sanctification, ecclesiology, eschatology, and pneumatology.

1.  Jesus  is (committed) to improving his own reputation.

2.  Jesus is (calling) us to be (conscious) of God’s Sovereignty.

3. Jesus is the (center-piece) of sound doctrine.

4.  Jesus is (changing) us to be like him.

5.  Jesus is (constructing) his church.

6.  Jesus is (commanding) his church to victory

7.  Jesus in (-cludes) us in his victorious work.
